Bluebird Sky Yoga is following CDC guidelines and DC reopening guidelines, implementing best practices from yoga studios across the country, and taking precautions to keep our community safe.

Please stay home if you are feeling sick, experience any symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. For more information, visit https://coronavirus.dc.gov/healthguidance.

Showing proof of vaccination is no longer required for attending indoor classes at Bluebird Sky Yoga. Masks are optional while practicing at Bluebird Sky Yoga. They are free and available at the front desk if you ask. Please wash your hands before and after practice or use hand sanitizer located in our studio.

Students unwilling or unable to comply with our COVID-19 safety protocols may practice online or outdoors.

Additional safety protocols below:

- CAPACITY: Classes are capped at each of the two studio rooms so total occupancy is about 50-60% of our capacity.

- HVAC FILTRATION: Our HVAC system was installed and brand new in 2016. We have a separate 5-7 ton HVAC unit for each yoga studio and the lobby. This means no air will circulate between rooms in the building. Our HVAC system is regularly serviced and filters are regularly cleaned.

- CLEANING: We deep clean the studio between classes and have hand sanitizer available.

- PRE-REGISTRATION: Please register in advance to secure your spot in class. This will ensure you get one of the limited spaces and reduce check-in time.

- EQUIPMENT: Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. Mats are also available for sale and for rent at the studio. Blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters are available, and we provide wipes, spray, and cloths for wiping down after you use them. They are also cleaned or sanitized on a weekly basis by staff.

- ASSISTS: All teachers will ask for permission before offering hands-on-assists and sanitize their hands for students who opt in.
